La Joya High School

On December 15, 2022 the students of the La Joya High School Academies attended an Employability Skills Workshop at the Mission CEED building where they learned valuable professional skills. The students were taught how to interview, how to write attractive resumes and learned time management skills.  Over 20 students represented both the T-STEM and Ford NGL Academies.  Vivian Salazar, a senior at La Joya HS said, “I was taught three types of resumes that there are and how to use the correct resume for the job [I] am applying for.” LJHS Academies continues to provide their students with career opportunity field trips and help prepare them for post high school life experiences.
