🐺🚨COYOTE PRIDE IN ACTION: PREPARED. TRAINED. SAFE.🚨🐺
La Joya High School conducted a planned “mock lockdown” exercise in which Law Studies students were trained and actively utilized in simulated real-life scenarios. During the exercise, law enforcement officers performed hall sweeps, coordinated response efforts, and practiced rescue procedures.
This training was designed to better prepare staff and students in the event of a real emergency. The event was announced as a drill to students and staff. At no time was any individual in actual danger.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to prioritize preparedness. La Joya High School remains fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and staff.

La Prepartoria La Joya realizó un ejercicio planificado de “simulacro de cierre” en el que los estudiantes de Estudios Jurídicos fueron capacitados y participaron activamente en escenarios simulados de la vida real. Durante el ejercicio, los oficiales de la ley realizaron barridos por los pasillos, coordinaron los esfuerzos de respuesta y practicaron procedimientos de rescate.
Esta capacitación fue diseñada para preparar mejor al personal y a los estudiantes en caso de una emergencia real. En ningún momento estuvo en peligro ninguna persona.
Agradecemos su paciencia y cooperación mientras seguimos priorizando la preparación. La Escuela Secundaria La Joya sigue totalmente comprometida con garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar de todos los estudiantes y el personal.
