🎉✨ January is School Board Recognition Month, and at La Joya ISD, we're joyfully celebrating our trustees for their dedication and commitment to the district and its students! 🏫💙 The theme for this year is "Locally Elected, Community Connected," emphasizing the vital link between our school trustees and the communities they serve. School board members, the largest group of locally-elected officials in the state, play a crucial role in shaping the future of education. 📚👏 Let's express our gratitude to these community leaders who tirelessly work for the betterment of our schools! 🙌🎊 #SchoolBoardRecognitionMonth

We are thrilled to share that our dedicated librarian, Mrs. Lumbreras, has been awarded a generous amount of $2000 from the incredible Clem Garza to buy books. This fantastic contribution will enhance our library collection allowing us to bring books our students will enjoy reading and enhance their learning in reading. A heartfelt thank you to Clem Garza for recognizing the importance of libraries and investing in the joy of reading.
