Congratulations to Juarez-Lincoln High School senior Rodolfo Rojas, son of Ms. Adriana Garza and Mr. Adalberto Rojas, on being selected as a Texas All-State musician on Bass Trombone through a rigorous audition process. Over 70,000 students initially enter the TMEA All-State competition, and only the top 2.6% earn the prestigious honor of becoming All-State musicians. This is the highest individual achievement a high school music student can attain. Rodolfo will represent La Joya ISD at the annual TMEA Convention in San Antonio, Texas, from February 12-15, 2025, where the elite All-State students will rehearse and perform under the guidance of world-class conductors and educators. Rodolfo is also a member of the National Honor Society and participates in the award-winning Juarez-Lincoln High School Band, directed by Mrs. Zynahia Montemayor-Banda, and is a brass student of Mr. Josh Rodriguez. He plans to major in music composition. We are incredibly proud to announce that Rodolfo is the only student from La Joya ISD selected for this prestigious honor this year!
