🎉🏆 What a thrilling day for our teams! Despite some tough matches, the hustle from all our players was truly inspiring! Huge congrats to our husky boys for their incredible performance! 🐾
⚽️ The JLHS girls gave it their all, and although they lost 1-4 against Flour Bluff, their determination was unmatched. Keep your heads up, ladies! 💪
⚽️ A nail-biting game for the La Joya High School boys ended in a 3-3 tie against Harlingen, but they showed exceptional resilience, unfortunately losing 4-3 on penalty kicks. You fought hard, boys! 🙌
⚽️ And last but certainly not least, our La Joya Juarez-Lincoln High School boys dominated the field with an impressive 6-0 victory against Victoria East! Way to go, team! ⚽ Let's keep up the amazing work and continue to show that husky pride! 🐾

The JLHS JROTC “Husky Battalion” traveled to Fischer, Texas to participate in the 1st Annual 5th Brigade Orienteering Championships. Approximately 30 schools from central Texas participated in the inaugural event. The team results were not available as of press time, but two Husky cadets placed 1st and 2nd in their respective categories. Cadet 2nd Lieutenant Ashley Ramirez just beat out her team mate Cadet Major Anna Grijalva. Orienteering is a competitive form of land navigation. There are individual and team events. Participants must use a map and compass to navigate between points within a designated time frame. The “Husky Battalion” has demonstrated a high degree of success and competitiveness, when it comes to orienteering.
