Principal’s Message
Eduardo "Eddie" Flores
Dear La Joya High School Students, Families, Faculty, Staff, and Community,
Welcome back to another exciting year at La Joya High School!
As I begin my second year as principal, I am filled with gratitude, pride, and excitement for what
we will accomplish together. Last year, our Coyote family demonstrated what is possible when we
unite around a shared vision. Through the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and
the support of our families and community, we proudly moved our campus forward. While we
celebrate this achievement, we know our journey toward excellence continues.
At La Joya High School, our mission extends beyond academic success. We are committed to
developing students who are prepared for college, careers, military service, and life. My leadership
philosophy is rooted in building strong relationships, serving others with integrity, maintaining high
expectations, and always putting students first. Every decision we make should create greater
opportunities for student success. This year, our focus remains clear: Persistence, Rigor, and
Purpose. We will persevere through challenges, embrace rigorous learning, and approach every day
with a purpose that inspires excellence. Together, we will continue strengthening instruction,
increasing student engagement, expanding opportunities, and building a culture where every student
is supported, challenged, and valued.
None of this is possible without a united school community. I encourage our families to stay
actively involved, our students to strive for their personal best, and our faculty and staff to continue
making a positive difference in the lives of our Coyotes. Together, we will create an environment
built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and respect.
Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to La Joya High School. It is an honor
to serve this incredible community, and I look forward to another year of growth, achievement, and
success.
Leading the Pack Through Persistence, Rigor, and Purpose.
Unified Leadership. Consistent Expectations. Student Success.
Every Student. Every Classroom. Every Day.
